ISO Assessment - good news for Jersey Dairy

We are delighted to announce that following the inspection on 20 September 2017, recommendation has been made to transitional certification to ISO 9001:2015 for Jersey Dairy, subject to successful LRQA technical review.

What does this mean?

This means Jersey Dairy has:

Tick listInvested significant time and effort in reviewing the business, processes and associated documents.

Made sure the understanding of the requirements, the business environment and challenges is clear and well-documented.

Generally successfully reviewed the changes and generally implemented a management system which meets all requirements.

The results are good all round!

What is ISO 9001:2015?

From the ISO website:

ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:

a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and

b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

All the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 are generic and are intended to be applicable to any organization, regardless of its type or size, or the products and services it provides.
