We are looking for an qualified Engineer to fill an exciting opportunity to become part of the engineering team at Jersey Dairy. This role is based on a 39 hour working week working 5 over 7 days.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to minimise manufacturing downtime and to increase operational efficiencies.

Attending breakdowns in a timely manner, diagnosing and repairing faults to minimise downtime.

Carrying out continuous upgrades of plant and machinery.

Testing and monitoring effectiveness of all equipment.

Maintaining accurate records of all work carried out.

Working with engineering stores person, suppliers and contractors to optimise material specifications and maintain engineering stocks. 


A relevant engineering qualification and/or a completed engineering apprenticeship.

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

It would be advantageous, but not essential to have:

FMCG/food manufacturing experience.

Understanding of HACCP.

Production Supervisor

The Position

Jersey Dairy is seeking to appoint a high performance individual to the post of Production Supervisor for their dairy processing and packaging operation based in Trinity.

39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This position will also include bank holidays as required.


Reporting to the Head of Production and working alongside existing Production Supervisor; the purpose of the role is to ensure that processing, assembly and packaging areas are managed in accordance with company H&S, technical and quality policies.


You will ensure the safe use of facilities and equipment and manage the safety, legality and quality of products whilst ensuring CCP's are adhered to.  You will identify, facilitate and support production staff training across the factory.  You will ensure efficient labour usage to meet production targets and identify areas for improved efficiency or waste control.

Skills & Qualifications

We are seeking a committed and positive individual with previous supervisory/team leading experience within the food industry (preferably within a high risk or chilled environment). Ideally, you will possess a working knowledge of BRC standards and be HACCP qualified.

To succeed in this role, you will have good leadership skills, enjoy managing and developing people through positive encouragement and be results orientated with a can do attitude to drive forward continuous improvement.
